Taqueria Los Comales in Bridgeview

Ordered through UberEats and looked at the pictures to see what looked appetizing. Ordered flank steak tacos (picture looked amazing!) and they sent me something that does NOT look/taste like flank steak. Called and lady on phone was rude. Wanted to try out new places due to COVID and I would NEVER order from them again!!!!

They definitely don't skimp on free starters which is amazing. The tacos were surprisingly small and ok, but the tostadas were incredible. It's a bit of a mouthful but if you're not afraid to get a little messy it's well worth it. Meal is extremely reasonably priced and the service is really nice. Will definitely be back to try the burritos!

Its kinda small but fast service and good customer service

First time eating here and this place was amazing. The fresh veggies and salsas plus the huge portions were fantastic. Next time I’m in town I’m definitely coming back.

Reliably great tacos, chicken fajitas and potato tacos, rice, beans and guacamole. Super friendly staff. Ice cold Coronas. Tacos are street tacos. Small tortillas delicious. Amazing salsas. Free chips.

We ordered from this place last night and OMG! My husband is Indian so he's super picky about food. Few things can compete with my mother-in-law's cooking. The samosas were probably the best I've ever had and the cheese naan totally fed my quesadilla-loving soul. My only issue was with the masala. I ordered medium, but it was super hot. In any case, we will definitely be placing several more orders here. It was fantastic!

Tacos are very small and food most of the time is falling hot.

This place used to be a favorite. My family and I have been coming for years, but the last few visits have drastically changed our opinion. The food quality isn't the same as before. The chips were stale the last 2-3 visits. But the service is the worst. Today was probably the last visit. The server who took our order was so rude? She did not make any eye contact and she turned away while I wasn't finished talking. She had her back to me as she nodded to the order changes I had, and then she got my order wrong. As I was paying, there was no acknowledgment either. She didn't hand me a receipt, so I asked if I could get one, and she goes "what? Oh yeah here" while making a face at me. What a shame to see this place change negatively.

Rice and beans were good I didn't care for the Gordita I ordered it was bland and dry I dont recommend that nice and friendly service

Taco's could be bigger but all locations are like that.Rice water (orchata) lil waterie. Torta kinda of soggy. The food @ all locations need some TLC.🤬💸💳🌮⏳

This place is a disaster. They dont know how to make food or make an order correctly. Everytime my family and I order here they get it wrong or something is missing. Wouldn't recommend ordering from here.

Ordered through a delivery app. Chicken tasted spoiled and the fries were black (overcooked or cooked in dirty oil). We asked for no avocado on one item since the person eating it has an allergy. The item still arrived with guacamole. It was difficult to just scrape off, the chicken was placed on top of the guacamole. Didn't matter I guess since we had to toss the sour chicken anyway. The food here is really hit or miss. The other items were okay. Did the trick for a group looking for a late night quick meal. Unfortunate that a 10 dollar item went in the garbage.

I'm from El Paso and I'm a truck driver and I almost never ever get Mexican food on the road. (Not to mention real Mexican food) This place is walking distance from the truck stop and I've been missing my food. I came by and it did not disappoint at all. Great food, excellent service, and it's authentic. No complaints from me and I'm glad that I walked this way instead of towards Taco Bell. Best of all my bill was 23.15 and that includes 2 Corona beers. I say if you're a trucker and in this area, stop by, the place was great!

The food is OK but numerous times I order something and they don't listen and mess up the order! This will be my last time going to this place.

Have been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years. It is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Their paneer tika masala is sooooo good. This place is way better than the flavor of India restaurant a block away. I would definitely recommend their lunch buffet.

I’d give zero stars if I could. This use to be our go to place for burritos and tacos. Lately the quality of food has drastically dropped. I ordered 2 steak burritos tonight with beans, cheese, sour cream, and avocado only with the tortilla crispy. There isn't any beans, cheese, or sour cream, and they put guacamole instead of avocado. The burrito is so greasy as if they dipped the tortilla is oil then heated it up and the meat is extra greasy, flavorless, and seems like it was old and they just heated it up in oil. Doesn’t even taste like steak meat. What a waste! I don’t think we’ll give them another try since this isn’t the first time we’ve been disappointed lately. So sad to see this place go down. They used to have great food.

Do not recommend. Torta and taco steak meat was crispy and tasted burnt like it was cooked too long. Tripe meat in the taco was stone hard and greasy. Tongue meat in taco was flavorless. Been to other comales locations and never experiened this bad of a quality meal. Was very disappointed. Oh well... now I know and so do you.

Delicious mexican food.

The food was great. Servers not so great. They weren't rude, they just didn't come back after we got our food. We wanted more drinks but I guess not. Only came back to hand us the check. It's not like they were busy. But food is good.

The BBQ tacos were delicious.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The team is very helpful and the food they offer is so yummy. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice meal in this place. Highly recommended.

I used to come here every night 2 years ago and the food was awesome! I came back last sunday since I moved out of town and the food wasn't good. I've been sick for 2 days now. I'm gonna give it a 3 star hoping it was only me and that I may be wrong.

First time I came here . Food was pretty good even though they forgot some things on my food but they took care of it and I enjoyed it alot the tacos were small but good but the chips and salsa were delicious and the chicharon the give you were awsome with lemon.. I will be back and the place was clean..

Wow just left Comales drive throigh and was greeted with the worst attitude. I didnt heard the Lady on the intercom and when I repeated myself the lady snarled and responded with a horrible attitude and tone. And then when I asked to speak to a manager she said there wasnt one on shift. This place has gone down in the last couple of years. I'm going to try to shut it down.

We ordered the taco dinner. The type of meat we ordered for the tacos was flank steak. This was hard and dry. Clearly old. And to top it off this is how much "steak" they put in the taco. Also the beans and rice were old. How do they even let this leave their kitchen.. disgusting

This place has the best skirt steak (arrachera) that I have ever eaten and I have eaten so much in many restaurants. It was cooked so perfect and juicy. We also had the rice and beans and the rice was so well flavored and so good. Usually the rice at other places are honestly not that good. My husband got the burrito and my kids got steak tacos and they didn't have any complaint. I would definitely recommend it!

Good Mexican food

Food is great. But they always get my order wrong & don't charge as stated on the menu. They charged me $2.30 for chips and $2.00 for salsa when the menu says $3.00 for chips & salsa. When the manager isn't there they claim the juicer doesn't work. The staff is very unpleasant. I never have issues when the manager is there but it's as if they purposely forget things in my order when he's not there because it literally happens every single time. Check your receipt if you go here. I hate to leave a negative review because the owner is nice & it's very clean but he seriously needs to retrain his rude staff.
